General Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to lycra.club! The forum aims to be a chilled place for fans of professional cycling to hang out and talk about their favourite riders and teams, so I don't want to write a massive list of rules - but there are just a few basic things I'd like to say.
No abuse. We all have riders & teams we love and hate for various reasons, but please keep the rivalry friendly in all boards. The only exception to this is the Controversial board, which is designed specifically for letting out the urge to argue in a contained space. Even then, there's no need to make it personal. Politics are likely to come up, so all that I ask is that conversations are kept as civil as possible; take it into DMs or off the site entirely if necessary.
Don't discuss piracy. Whether in relation to cycling itself or not, please don't post links to pirate websites or services here. This isn't a moral stance, I just don't want to encounter legal issues on a forum I'm running entirely for fun. Take it to DMs or off the site entirely.
Be careful sharing geographic information. It's best only to share the country you're from. The forum is public and will have attention drawn to it by crawlers and bots, if not other real people. Be careful what kinds of personal information you post.
Thanks! I'll update with anything else I think of when/if the time comes.
